Indoor Picnic

Met the girls on Saturday, we decided not to go shopping but to have an indoor picnic at Adeline house. All because of those rain, we can't get an outdoor one.

Everyone is suppose to bring something. Xuan brought along jelly and sandwiches

Adeline made salads for us.

While ling brought along some apples to go with the salads.

So wad did i bring ???

Ta da... CHIPS!!! Although is unhealthy, but is a must for picnic. And also is everyone all time favourite

and i brought along some entertainment too. I called that English majong, but the real name for the game is "Rummikub". Is a great game for four.

p/s: I am sure we all had a great time with the company of each other, lets have it more often.

Sunday

It wasn't a good start for me. Why? Because i wake up so early to prepare myself as i am going to give tuition at 10am. And who knows when i reach there, her mum told me that she had actually forgotten to sms me, telling me not to come today as her child is ill. So i have to go back all the way from lakeside to clementi.

Nvm, take it as morning exercise, ** but still she should have told me earlier so i don't have to wake up so early and make a wasted trip there **

Reach home around 11plus, had my lunch and i decided to go shopping for a new pair of sports shoe. Adidas is having some promotion, you can trade in any old sports shoes and get up to 100 bucks off for a new pair. WOW !!

Adidas is doing this because for every 20 old pairs collected, they will donate 1 brand new to the less fortunate youth at Andrew and Grace Home and Gracehaven Salvation Army.

So What are you waiting for, getting great deal and at the same time help the less fortunate.

After that went home and brought cannan out for a stroll .

I am back

Nothing much happen for this few days thus nothing much to update either. But i shall blog what i had done for the past weekend.
Met Cy on Saturday, shop around bugis, china town and lastly to Queensway. I am getting bored in Singapore, not much interesting places for me to go. Or maybe i have not discover it yet, so any recommendations ??

Sunday, met Jamie and i make her jog with me. So sweet of her, she came all the way here accompany me jog at 1pm. You all must be thinking, did you see wrongly 1PM ?!!?

Yes is 1 PM !!! i purposely choose such timing so that i can get to feel the sun. Because Mr sun has been missing this few days.
We jog all the way till the end of the jogging track and they are having some construction, by 2012 they will link the jogging track to Teban Garden track, COOL right.

We sat down to rest for awhile and decided to carry on our journey to Pandan reservoir. Had a hard time walking across the old rail way track and walking along the express way. I still can remember, my childhood friends and i like to climb the railway track when i was in my primary school days. But this time i feel scared when crossing over the railway track, feeling very unstable.

After much effort, we finally made it to the Pandan reservoir. BUT they sky turn dark, and it started to rain. I have not even sit down to enjoy the view, what a weather. We quickly ran to a nearby block and waited for the rain to stop.

1/2 hr gone, finally the rain stop. I requested to go to the reservoir again, it a really nice place for you to relax. Sit down and read a book with the breeze blowing right into your face. I shall go there again when the monsoon season is over.

We carry on our journey back, and this time a different route back. We walk all the way till west coast and then to Clementi stadium. The sky turn dark and it pour heavily, oh man what a day !!
We quickly hid ourself at the stadium.

Waited and waited, but it seem no ending. So we decided to just run across and get out of that place. Running is the rain is so much FUN.

Finally back home all wet but feeling great.


p.s - I Had a really wonderful experience, i don't think i will ever experience it again. Do what you want to do when you are still young (:
p.s - Mr sun, when can i see you again.

Finally 23 weeks of attachment ended on the 8.8.08. So i am free of doing reports and presentation. Hurray !! Anyway i really had a great time there, gaining knowledge that i won't be able to learn in school. Not forgetting to mention, great friends i get to know there.

We had our farewell lunch with our manager and department at Pasta Bravo. Is an traditional Italian restaurant. The ambience at Pasta Brava was excellent and the menu is bursting with a wide variety of flavours that spans both the north and south of Italy.

The food we had, sadly not all food are taken. The food are great, especially the desert we had.

Well i did mention in my previous post that i will be continuing for another 2 months. So 2 more months for me to go. I hope that i won't be overloaded with work and also won't be that lonely.

Last weekend was spend with my colleague because is the " GAC OLYMPICS" . No kidding, we even had that fire stick with us from the start of it until the end of the whole thing.


Started at my manager house, and off we went to East Cost Beach.

While the rest walked off with a silver medal.

I think the last time i went East Coast Beach was like when i am just 4 or 5 years old. SHOCKING right? The place really change a lot, kind of like the feeling there. I am starting to love beaches.

I LOVE WEEKEND

Weekend is here again and i am left with 3 more weeks to end this attachment. However i requested for a stay for another 2 months meaning to say i still have 2 months and 3 weeks left before i leave the company.



Okie here are some update for Chiew Yang house warming that was held last Sunday.....

Yesterday went out with my colleague to Grand Plaza Park hotel for buffet. Adult 30+++ and children 19+++ for lunch. All i can say the food there is worth the price, try it.

Ok i love everything there... Especially the pastries and cakes...

After the heavy lunch, we went to Queensway because i wanted to get a new skates and Joanna daughter wanted to learn skating too .

My new skates which cost me $270 bucks.

I tired them out just now, it was 2 times faster than my old one and I used less energy then before to finish the whole track.

But i love the feeling when i am skating (: With my new skates i shall exercise more.
